Top of our list of priorities is not only making the birth for you and your baby as safe as possible, just as important is supporting you in your own way through the birth. Firstly, medical facilities guarantee the physical aspects of birth and secondly, a trusting, relaxing, comfortable atmosphere leads to peace of mind.

Immediately after the birth, your newly-born baby is laid on your chest for the chance to take its first milk. This contact over the first few hours is most important as it bonds mother with child as nature intended.

Naturally, midwives and physicians have already cast a professional eye over the newly-born. When there are no indications of irregularities, the first examination (U1) of your baby takes place in the first 2 hours of life.
